oaksnap: skinstories: i was reading about san francisco’s pavement to parks initiative which turns no-man’s-land street edges into small parks or parklets. to my surprise, the powell st. parklet is designed by my professor at cal walter hood! here is my two cents: go bears and i heart sf! read more here. I’m reblogging this because I just received an email from the City of Oakland about the Parklet Pilot Program (deadline October 24th!) and Walter Hood (see link above) has noteworthy “Improvisations” in Oakland!
